It’s that time of year again to start taking road trips across this great nation! If you like to venture out a bit while traveling to your next destination, then these may be the apps for you!

GasBuddy: This app will help you find gas by location and price. If you don’t mind cruising a little farther down the road to save a few more cents or dollars, this app is for you!

Field Trip: This app made by Google looks for sites of interest around you, based on categories you select and your location. When you’re close to an attraction an alert will come to your phone.

Travel Maps: If you’re a huge foodie, this app is for you! This app will find restaurants and eateries that have appeared on various television food shows, such as Bizarre Foods American, Top Chef, $40 a Day, Restaurant Impossible Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

Triposo: If your trip consist of driving through the desert or cruising into the deep mountains, this app may be for you. Triposo puts offline maps and travel guides onto your phone so you can use them in dead zones.
